D-TIPS presented for 100 teachers

Knowledge Economy Forum was invited to present D-TIPS project and possible integrations of design thinking methods for foreign language teachers. The international teacher conference "Effective and creative STEAM integration in foreign language lessons" was organised by Šiaulių Dainų progimnazija.

In the conference which took place yesterday Arminas Varanauskas presented design thinking and emphasised main aspects and benefits for the classroom. "Adapting design thinking to learning foreign languages is not hard. Such a way of thinking is a creative way to solve problems, the principles of which enable interdisciplinary learning, strengthening skills such as inquiry and real life problem solving" - told A. Varanauskas.

More than 120 teachers from Lithuania, Great Britain, Turkey and Poland had participated in the conference. More information about the conference.
